Manpower Permanent Professional is looking for a Regional QHSE Manager on behalf of an international company operating in temperature-controlled logistics.
The QHSE Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring health, safety, environmental, and quality standards within the organization. This position supports the implementation of QHSE policies and procedures, promotes a safe and sustainable working environment.
Key Responsabilities:
Audits & Inspections: Conduct internal audits and inspections to check compliance with QHSE standards; identify risks and areas for improvement; recommend corrective actions
Training & awareness: Organize and deliver training on QHSE topics (safety procedures, environmental awareness, quality management); ensure employees are well-informed on regulations; develop and maintain QHSE training matrix
Documentation & reporting: Maintain QHSE documentation (policies, procedures, reports, incident records); contribute to QHSE SharePoint development (risk assessments, SOPs, training certificates); prepare and present QHSE performance reports
Incident management: Manage incident/accident data collection, analysis, and reporting; collaborate with departments to ensure investigation and preventive measures
Communication & collaboration: Act as point of contact for QHSE questions; work with teams to foster a culture of safety and quality
Legislation & regulation: Stay updated on QHSE legislation and ensure compliance; advise management on legal changes and organizational impact
Required skills and qualifications
Knowledge of Italian QHSE legislation and standards
Deep knowledge of certified QHSE management systems, such as IFS Logistics, ISO 9001, Organic, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
Certificate/education: background (academic and/or professional) in logistics and refrigeration systems (preferably)
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong training skills to deliver internal QHSE training courses
Analytical skills to identify risks and formulate solutions
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects
System experience: SharePoint (for QHSE documentation and reporting)
Work experience: previous experience in QHSE management or related field
Language skills: Italian (mother tongue) and English (at least level B2)??

Contract type: Permanent
Location: Milan
Salary range: around € 40-45k gross salary /year + 1 month bonus
