The successful candidate will join the Groups & Events Team, supporting the department in the organisation and management of events and helping to ensure impeccable service and a memorable experience for our guests. 

Key responsibilities

- Support the team in the planning and coordination of corporate meetings, conferences, banquets and special events.
- Assist in the preparation of operational documentation (BEO – Banquet Event Order, programmes, layouts).
- Assist with the management of operational systems, such as Opera and Sales & Catering.
- Collaborate with internal departments (F&B, Sales, Front Office, Housekeeping) to ensure the smooth running of the event.
- Welcome guests during events and provide on-site operational support.
- Monitor set-ups and ensure that the hotel’s standards are met.
- Support the management of last-minute requests and the resolution of any issues that may arise.
- Contribute to updating databases, reporting and the department’s administrative tasks.
- Take part in site inspections and pre-event briefings.

Preferred Qualifications

- A qualification in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Tourism or related disciplines.
- Good communication skills and an aptitude for teamwork.
- Problem-solving skills and operational flexibility.
- Good knowledge of English; a second language is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; knowledge of industry-specific management software is an advantage.
