M&A / Corporate Development Analyst

???? Gross annual salary: up to €35,000

On behalf of a fast-growing manufacturing company, we are looking for an M&A / Corporate Development Analyst to join the strategy team, supporting external growth and business development activities.
The successful candidate will take an active part in the full acquisition cycle, from the identification of investment opportunities to post-acquisition integration, working together with management and with internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for a curious, analytical, and motivated person who wants to build a career in M&A and Corporate Development.
Main responsibilities
Supporting the scouting of potential acquisition targets and maintaining the M&A pipeline
Carrying out market, industry and competitor analysis
Supporting the financial modelling and valuation of investment opportunities
Working with external advisors and other stakeholders involved in the due diligence process
Preparing presentations and Board materials
Contributing to growth initiatives and to the strategic development of the company
Supporting post-merger integration projects, helping to track plan execution and liaising with the different workstream leaders
Requirements
Degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering or similar
Some experience or an internship (also short) in Finance, Transaction Services, M&A, Corporate Finance, Audit or Strategy Consulting
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point
Very good English
Strong interest in M&A transactions and corporate strategy
Accuracy, proactivity and result orientation
Willingness to travel occasionally
Nice to have
Fluent Italian
Experience in industrial or capital goods companies
Familiarity with virtual data rooms
